Makeup for women of color

Makeup for women of color

Hi, all:

Okay, I have a dilema, what has been the best brand you have had great experience when dealing with darker skin tones. I need help!

I am scheduled for a photo shoot this weekend, yes, this weekend, and I have no clue. First for brand, plus what works best as far as foundation and also eye shadow. Just need to make sure it is complimentary to most darker skin tones, but doesn't make it look too bold.

Thanks for any and all feedback.

Sandra

Sandra, You probably already

Sandra,

You probably already have a response to this, but I have got to say that MAC Studio Tech and MAC foundation sticks. I love the Tech because it gives a nice smooth texture to the skin when it is combined with MAC Matte Fluid.

The foundation sticks are the bomb because you can use them for high and low lighting as well as contouring. MAC also has a mineralizing line too.

It all depends too what skincare you are using underneath of it, too.

As far as Shadow, again between Smashbox and MAC. MAC Pigments and the pigment intheir shadows is unsurpassed. Their color is just amazing...Smashbox is more of something I would carry in my purse for my own application...

I hope this helps and I am not being redundant!! =)
