The Kachoozie Network

Models, Photographers, Photoshopers, Actors, and Really Anyone that is Creative!

Hello,

I just started posting here and I notice the forums are a bit slow. I was wondeing if anyone has made any money from downloads here.

The site seems great and my pics got approved quick but I was curious as to how much traffic the site gets.

I see a lot of "views" on pics but nothing showing downloads etc.

Thanks much,

Kat

Yep this is a tough market, just remember this site is in progress, we have some other components to build , that once are in place will drive many sales -ter

Terry,

Does that mean you have no actual people looking at this site yet? I just want to know if it is worth uploading photos here now if this site is not actually active for business yet.

Thanks

Nope we are getting a ton of views, and have had some sales, we have over 100k images, and with the next portion of the business plan, we will most likely change the stock photo paradigm! The site has only really been online for a little over a year, so it is in the early stages.

Hello Kat.
I've been doing stock photography since 2005.
I started off with IStock and I was there a year before I made my first sale. But now I am getting about $100 a month from them.
Since Kachoozie is fairly new it might take a while for the site to get noticed in terms of large scale commercial searches.
Plus keep in mind that the economy is bad right now so that might also slow down sales.
The best advice I can give you is to simply upload what you've got and see what happens.
But don't get discouraged if it takes a few months or even a year before your first sale. Once you get noticed the sales will take off on their own.

Hi Kat,

I uploaded and started Kachzzie last year, it takes a lot of work to upload and I have gotten disappointed. I have a Nikon D1X and the most I can make off of one image is $3., But I'm still trying to sell. I will continue for a little while longer but so far no sales.
I know I need to be patient and then maybe I'm not uploading what the world is looking for. You have nothing to loose, but your time.
