This story has got to be the best so far.

So a couple of Months ago I am contacted by a Model and she is going to be travelling across the country from NY, and at each city she stops in, she sets up several shoots. Well that is why she was contacting me to set up a PAID shoot. She had some great images on her One Model Place profile , so we agreed on a time/place. Oh yeah her pay was to be for 250.00 for three hours. We never really discussed much about the shoot other than I like the Leather outfit she had on, in one of her images. That was about it. About a month after that I was driving to San Diego and went through the Sand Dunes just outside of Arizona. I thought how cool would it be to shoot her there in her leather outfit, so I sent her en email and she said she was actually going to do the same type of shoot in New Mexico, with like 4 other photographers, and that I could join for that. Well I explained to her I am more of the Lone Wolf type, and don't really like to shoot with other photographers, I mean for me , it is like shooting the same images when someone else is there. Sure you have your own style but there is an element of sameness in that isn't there? Of course this would be killer for her, since she would have had 5 guys at 250.00 , that's soume good dough, but I personally think this type of shooting is like guys paying to gang bang her with their lenses( you will see why I wrote that as you read on). So I declined and we went back to the original plan.

The shoot was scheduled for April 18th at 3:30. Earlier in the week, I had a male model friend ask me if I were available and I thought how cool would it be to have both of these folks do the shoot since they were both from NY, I was going for a sort of dominatrix /tony sopranos vibe. I called the Female Model early in the day to let her know the male model would be there, and that he and I were doing TFCD. Never heard back from her one way or the other.

Well as you can imagine if you have read any of my blogs, I think I attract this sort of person for some reason. 3:30 comes, 4:00. 4:30 , no call no show. I called her several times, the male model called her, and my wife (my assistant on these) calls her in case she is screening calls. Come to find out she screens ALL calls. The male model and I go ahead and shoot, he calmed me down( since this gets on my last nerve), and it ended up being a great shoot. Once he had left I sent the model a couple of emails asking her , "who flakes on a paid shoot?" I think that is a totally legitimate question. She finally responds, and says she thought the fact that I added male models was "creepy" without checking with her. Mind you I should not have done that, but I also did call her and let her know 5 hours earlier. She said she was so mad, that she was there but just turned around and left. Funny thing is, if I do the math, she has in her blog today that she hung out with some other models that were doing the Arizona shootout, which I know is in Youngstown, about 3 hours from here. So if she were to do the shoot from 3:30 to 6:30 then go to Youngstown that would put her at the parties around 10 . Not to mention she would have been tired from all the driving. Honestly I could care less what the excuse is (see my blog on excuses are like assholes, we all got one , and they all stink!) anyway, she could have called and said she had a flat, or something.

MY ISSUE HERE WITH THIS MODEL IS- SHE NEVER CANCELLED, SHE NEVER CALLED , NOTHING. EVEN THOUGH SHE SAID SHE CANCELLED.

Later, I thought well I ripped her pretty good in email, so of course I expected to get ripped back , so I google her email address, and low and behold there is her blog. I subscribe via RSS and she did not let me down, there is was the story about the shoot. As I read it , I was blown away, and honestly I should probably be thankful she did not show. I mean the way it was written, was like I was some GWC ( Model Mayhem coins them as Guys with cameras , I call them guys with cocks, since almost always all they shoot are nudes, and most of the shots never look good at all). So she writes in her blog , about how "creepy" this was and that these guys could be anyone and maybe they were setting her up to gang bang her. This statement alone is so hilarious, since one of her you tube videos she is talking about going to fetishcon. Don't get me wrong I have no problem going to fetishcon but for crying out loud was she really worried about the whole gang bang thing. She has no issue having guys pay here to shoot in multiples. I mean seriously how creepy is four to five guys shooting her naked. Maybe I am too old school, but THAT is creepy! Yuck. Oh but it is totally ok if they are paying.

IN HER BLOG SHE SAYS SHE WAS SCARED SO SHE JUST CANCELLED. MY ISSUE WITH THIS IS, IF YOU CALL PRIOR THAT IS A CANCELLATION.

IF YOU NEVER CALL AND ONLY RESPOND WHEN YOU GET AN EMAIL AFTER THE FACT, THAT IS A NO SHOW.THAT IS A FLAKE!

HUGE DIFFERENCE!!!!!

That crap about being scared , WTF? OK you are scared, but you still can't call? Can I find your whereabouts from your cell, give me a break. Oh well , in retrospect I was probably a good thing she did not show, since she could have gotten here, and then decided she was not happy, called the cops, and said anything, then, us basically being guys, the burden of proof would be on us. That my friends, that is why my wife is at every shoot, because you never know, sad that it has to be that way but it is what it is.

OK, Let's see how real you are, and if you post this.

Here is the other side of the story, since I knew somehow it would end up getting posted like this. Yea that is pretty obsessive to google some one's email address, but when it comes to my good name, I refuse to have it besmirched, since I treat everyone with dignity and respect.

Model X, I HAVE NOT harassed you. If you call "outing" you for flaking on the model sites, then you are correct. I have the entire string and would be happy to post them, in fact I may post them on my blog.

Yes I have sent you some nasty emails, only because I was very upset that I could actually have a PAID shoot flake. The Cancellation would have been fine, and I would have totally understood that,

HAD YOU BOTHERED TO EVEN CALL!!!!

That lack of professional consideration made me lose it. I mean who does that? Some of the young just getting started models do it, but that is to be expected, not someone who is a "professional". And check it out, ANYONE who wastes mine time, you bet they can expect to get a nasty email or call, I mean all you have to do is call beforehand, don't leave people hanging and wasting their time. I don't think that is too much to ask, do you? I have had models email a day before, and say they can't make it, and I was fine with that, however; I draw the line when people are so disrespectful, and thoughtless that they can't even notify you.

As you can imagine we sat here, and 3:30 passed, 4:00 passed 4:30 passed, nothing. I had made a bunch of arrangements, went to the store to get a bunch of props. I called , two or three times, had the male model call, nothing .

All you had to do is have some consideration and call, or even text, that you were not coming, is that too much to ask? I mean even if you were scared, was there some way we could have tracked you phone via GPS and come do horrible things to you? NO, I think not!

You are correct I probably should have pre-arranged the male model thing with you beforehand. Notice I said male model, it was not multiple, it was one. If you had bothered to call , I would have realized my error and canceled the male model. I sincerely apologize for that, it was my mistake.

The sad thing is, it was a sort of inspirational thing, since you are coming from NY, and the Male model is from NY( We went ahead and shot and got some great shots!), I thought we could do some interesting shots.Sort of some Tony Soprano looks for him.

Just another thought, you contacted me, I did not contact you. You contacted me on One Model Place, and if you even read two things there, it says I hate it when people flake, the other is, my wife is always at my shoots as she acts as makeup,wardrobe, and assistant. She even called to see where you were! Oh yea, if there was any doubt you could have contacted any of the models I have worked with, since we had this scheduled a few months in advance.

I personally think you found something else to do, with one of the shootout people, or since it was Friday night just wanted to have some party time. That is why you did not call, since you probably felt a little guilty. And I think that is why you put this blog up written they way it was, because you can place blame entirely on me for this.

My Bad, since I forgot to look at the bad elements in life, since I really try and focus on the positive. I do sincerely apologize for losing it, and for not checking with you on the changes.
